Condolence: My deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time. I hope the words at Rev.21:4 bring you comfort. It says: "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence From: Randy Deutsch
Condolence: Ed was a wonderful friend and supporter for me when I came to Tenants Harbor 7 years ago to look into buying the East Wind Inn. Without him I could never have accomplished the purchase and never could have made the inn a success. He was a valuable and loyal mentor. He and Nancy immediately embraced my new wife Nancy when we married in 2017. We will truly miss having Ed in our lives.

Condolence From: Richard M. Ludwig
Condolence: I am truly devastated by our loss. Brother Ed was such a wonderful person in every way, and I do and will miss him every day. Growing up together in little Gardiner, Maine, we did so may things together, and I have so many fond memories. Our family didn't own an automobile until about 1950, and our Dad's business panel truck was our only previous vehicular accomodation, so Ed and I sat in the back, with no windows except those in front, and had to entertain ourselves, usually with lots of poking and jabbing, as boys will do. We remained close, even after I graduated from UMaine in 1952; he was the best man at our wedding in 1953. Thank you, dear Nancy, for being such a wonderful wife and friend to Ed over the last 43 years, which have flown by like the wind. So farewell for a time, dear Ed, until we all meet again in a better world. Love, Brother Dick

Condolence: I met you when l was 15 and , boy, when I did, I wasn’t very happy about it. I let you know that too. After all, in my eyes, you were taking my mother away from me and forcing me to move from my hometown, leaving my family and friends behind . Looking back now, you listen to me with kindness and patience. You were a loving husband to Mom and had so many more titles during your lifetime, a father like figure to me, a brother,a friend, a mentor, grandfather, great grandfather, advice giver, the list is very very long. I wish now that I had told you more often how much I appreciated you for being you. I will do my best to make your famous lobster stew and blueberry muffins for the family. Much love❤️ Until we meet again.❤️
