memory of a friend
In 1979 I was working up at the Augusta air port for Maine Helicopters,
thats when I meet Lloyd, He was a very interested person and real nice guy.
He would bring his pot-bellied pig around the hangers in Augusta and they would be a site to see if you have never been around one before.I would meet Lloyd at different airports around Maine him doing what he did and I was doing what I did, we always had time say hello and shake hands. Now that we were both retired and not seeing each other for years
every now and then I would bump into him especially at the Damariscotta
Lake restaurant he always knew my name, ask what I have been up to.
He was indeed a professional person on the ground and in the air and one person I had deep respect for.
Maine has lost another legend and will be missed.
