Henry A. Conary
Henry A. Conary, 83, died September 25th surrounded by his loving family at his home in Warren. He was born September 27, 1930 in Rockland to Everett and Hazel Holbrook Conary. Henry grew up in Rockland and attended local schools.
He worked with his brother-in-law, Joe Billings, as a lobsterman for many years. He worked at Bath Iron Works for 16 years as a pipe coverer. He was a general contractor for the rest of his career. He built over 100 homes as well as building homes for his children and grandchildren. He even helped with the building of his daughters’ home at the age of 82. He loved working with his tractor and was always busy with numerous projects at his home.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. He was very active in the Warren Baptist Church and the Warren Food Pantry. He was affectionately known by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as, “Bumpie.” Henry was known as being reliable, honest, generous and self-less. He will be truly missed by his family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Debbie Williams; siblings, Erma Holbrook, Walter, Leo, Viola Billings, Eugene, Lyford, and Kalvin; and by a granddaughter, Leslie Carey.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lucille Perry Conary of Warren

Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 3rd at Hall’s of Waldoboro, 949 Main Street, Waldoboro. A service to commemorate Henry’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Sat., October 4th at the Warren Baptist Church in Warren. Rev. Dr. Linwood Welch will officiate. A reception will follow the service at the church. A private burial will be held at a later date. Contributions in Henry’s memory may be made to the Warren Food Pantry, P.O.
