Obituary for Janet Joanna Josher (Buzzaro)

Janet Joanna Josher (Buzzaro)
Janet J. Josher, 61 of Cushing and formerly of Avenel ,New Jersey passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Pen Bay Medical Center on March 26, 2015. Janet was born on December 29th 1953 in Avenel, New Jersey to parents Salvatore and Dorothy Sasso Buzzaro.
Janet attended and graduated schools in New Jersey then attended The School of Environmental and Biological Sciences of Cook College- affiliate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Janet’s degree lead her to the E.P.A. where she worked for 10 years as well as a time for Union Carbide. Janet met her soulmate Steve Josher and they two were married on September 21st, 1987 .
Left to cherish her memory along with her husband Steve are her son’s Michael Cullinane of England and her son Cody Josher of Virginia. As well as a daughter Elizabeth Cullinane of New Jersey. She also leaves her two precious grandchildren- Julia O’Donnell of New Jersey , and Samuel Cullinane of England.
Family was most important to Janet, and being a loving wife both the family state she was most proud of and was evident by the love she showed to her husband, children and grandchildren. One of Janets favorite past times was cooking ( she excelled in fine Italian meals). She also loved gardening, growing her own vegetables, and reading (great mysteries). She had a soft spot for all animals especially Dogs, horses and birds and just enjoyed what nature had to offer. Janet loved to travel and had fond memories of her trips to Ireland as well as Italy.
Janet ‘s longing for the smell of the ocean was able to live her dream of moving to Maine which she and Steve were able to do 2 years ago to her special place in Cushing.
It was Janet’s wish that no services be held for her . A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
Hall’s of Thomaston has care of the arrangements. To extend online condolences, light a candle for Janet, or to share a story or picture, visit their book of memories at www.hallfuneralhomes.com.
